Yellow & Gray...My Perfect Day

Centerpiece B - Fabric Flowers
Centerpiece A - Branches with Rick Rack Flowers
My wedding planning started with a few glasses of wine, some magazines, and the internet.  Rather than growing my wedding from the roots up - starting with a color, venue, style or gown and branching out - I started at the branches, choosing what options I liked best of each category and hoping it would all come together.

Of course, there were large and small changes along the way (I went from Peacock feathers to yellow and gray fabric flowers, believe it or not!), but I cherished (most of) the adventures and my husband and I grew stronger because of it.  It certainly was a test of patience!

Food - Stuffed Mushrooms

Thankfully, it all came together beautifully.  Almost everything was hand made or bargain bought which not only saved money but also to gave me complete control of the process.  Food, bouquets, centerpieces, corsages, boutonnieres, displays, favors…the list goes on.  These projects, which will be explained in upcoming posts, can be made yourself by following the instructions that I provide.  If time is short or you just need an extra hand, let me know and I can certainly help out!  I will make a special Etsy listing for you and we will discuss details in a private conversation.  Do It Yourself – And I’ll Help!
